Passive party, nimrods. >.<

And no. Oric has a +10 to Awesome. It is NOT worth risking his wrath yet. Maybe when we have more loot...

Like, enough loot to take down a shopkeeper.

Go find Cain already, dammit! Nothing left to do here except die horribly!

Tell him that we are too afraid to go on, and that he, our mighty leader, must push on and clear the way.

Knowing Belgium, everyone will vote for themselves out of mistrust for anyone else, and some kind of weird direct democracy coalition will need to be formed from 11 million or so individuals.

Worth a shot.

Or leave. We have a way down, and a temporary way up.
Also, we don't know where he is or how to get to him.

Tell him that we are too afraid to go on, and that he, our mighty leader, must push on and clear the way.
This, but phrase it so that we're saying we're too pathetically unable to get across.

Also, we don't know where he is or how to get to him.

But... We do know where he is. He's inside of his boss room, as he had already stated. We have a key to the door that leads to him available. All we have to do is convert the floor key into a door key and open the door to his chambers.

Personally, I would be for finding our fair silver haired maiden first. I miss her presence...

Also, that door under the water where there was that "rainbow" gate looks suspiciously like the one in Megaman that leads to bosses.

I'm voting for going to the Checkpoint again.

1- We need to heal, especially if we're going to mess with Cain or a potential miniboss.
2- If we replenish our SP, we can Windirection ourselves over that gap to the Probably Sweet Loot room.
3- We've got a laundry list of things we need to check on elsewhere (Essence and Binding sidequest for Slog, Oric's MEMOR-E cartridges, bloodshaping on a not-antimagic floor, hitting up that sidequest dude in Underside to see if his quests have updated, etc)
4- Did I mention we need to heal?

This is what the last update reminded me of.

Use the christmas lights and star as a grappling hook to cross the chasm.

Equip Ring& BarteringRam
Tell him that we overheard that a gray dude said he was going to die, barter information for Riverdollars.

I believe at some point FFS posted a map. It would be a simple matter of finding that and using it to guide our feet.

And miss all the loot.

This is what the last update reminded me of.

Use the christmas lights and star as a grappling hook to cross the chasm.

Or better yet, use it to grab the Rainbow Key.

But here's an alternative.

There's a lot of water in the area, right?  With the ladder room (Swimpoint A) we were able to get around the dungeon.  What about the non-ladder areas?  Could we swim from other of the rooms?  I'm thinking the Ex-Storage Room, the Pre-Drop Room, and the Temp Checkpoint room.  We should check the water there.

And if we ever get past the Stone Dragon, I want to drain the water there into the abyss.

And miss all the loot.

Now there is a counter argument I can fall behind. Disregard quest. Acquire loot and women.

I did actually link that map in the index for easy finding.

Indeed! I have seen your indexes scattered about the thread. They are a godsend. But now I can't find the index. >.<

And that's how Oric wants a traditional cycle. Promise loot and women, even in the face of death

Thing is, we haven't found the boss room. So it's not on the map. And everywhere we haven't explored, there's a bottomless chasm, deadly stonedragon, or solid wall in the way.
