Hm. I don't even remember when we bloodshaped Bloody Harry for the first time. Shit. Somebody else remember for me so I can note it in the navigation.
Noting Soul Star appearances is a nice touch, but I was saddened and dismayed to find that it did not apply to any other items. Maybe I should start trying to compile an armory.

When I first started the Advanced Navigation it was because we were still working on the "Who owns each Soul Star/what do they do" theorycrafts and I was annoyed at having to dig through the whole thread trying to find their appearances, so I made a special effort to note their appearances. There are several items/menus I noted in the course of navigating, but I didn't make a special effort like I did with the Soul Stars, so if something more interesting happened in that update (e.g Al's Perfect Heart, flashbacks) it tended to fall through the cracks. I'll try to do better here on out, but a proper armory would be a good idea (especially for situations like this where we have the opportunity to try and recreate an existing weapon that fits our needs, or to decide we need something completely new.)

Also, @ffs, what do you consider the range from just outside the boss room door to the boss itself? Medium or long?

Right here.

Thanks! Out of curiosity, how'd you find it?

Huh. Wish I'd thought of that instead of "bloody harry."

Ah, that makes sense. I'll work on it a bit; at a bare minimum, knowing we've compiled every weapon up to a given update could be really handy.

Unrelated: At the dawn of time, Betweenford took 24 damage before throwing us the skill tree and giving us a way out. He did not, however, appear to do very much damage in return.

Angels are probably very scary.

Sorry to triple post, but the URLs are making this kind of long. I suspect I may need to end up breaking the regular menus and an index into two separate posts.

I'm on four and counting, so good luck with that mate :P

Sincerely though, hooray! I've linked to that first post from Advanced Navigation Part One for posterity's sake. I do appreciate how you have both the menu and the link to the update, that's a nice touch.

You know what? Switch to Al using the Influx. Then sign up for the side quest and come back to the party.

+1. I'm willing to take the risk to increase rewards.
+1

absorb hemiglo-bore, bloodshape item with Terraformer (hard) menu option and/or upgraded drill
also al might be intercepted by that Valkyrie, we shouldn't expect him to make it back in one piece, if at all
we should switch over before he's the replacement pretty pretty princess for ecco's castle

In case it wasn't obvious by now, combing through past updates looking for item menus is oddly rewarding in its own right. It's amazing how much stuff we've been through and then probably forgotten about.

I'm pretty sure I've run into that update—and been startled by it—at least three times. It's easy to forget how much puzzling, probably-important stuff we haven't figured out.

Like the code, for example! Has anyone figured out Proxxy's code, or are we going to need to switch to her again?

((Nobody's yet figured out Proxxy's code, but I have a theory as to what it contains.))

((To prevent Ciro from detecting this, I'm using shield parentheses to keep it secret from her. Since Proxxy escaped the DL8 prison, there have been no other code updates. I theorize... to start with, Proxxy was directly aware of us, and even directly spoke to us, just like Ciro in Monarchy Mode, but she couldn't hold us off for long and soon lost control. Whatever she wanted to tell us, our having overwhelmed her independence must have sealed it off. Therefore, plus the fact that she said hinted it was important... Ultimate Weapon stuffs.))

((In other notes, I hope Ciro can't detect what we say concealed behind (()).))
