Overland flood on a glacier?

(1/2) > >>

elipsis:
I'm playing a glacier map and I tried to flood out a siege. for some reason the water stopped right on the edge of the glacier tiles. does overland flooding with water not work? Going to try magma  :)

puke:
the glacier is like a giant frozen river.  the game does not treat frozen rivers any differently than the unfrozen kind, as far as flows are concerned.

Turgid Bolk:
Overland flooding does work on other maps, though, but will end up permaflooding the outside. Not recommended unless you completely isolate the flood with channels, or build an anti-flood generator. Just for future reference.

Savok:
If you dig a channel on a glacier, it will fill up instantly. If you flush it with magma, the water will not return and it will work normally.
