ROLL to DUEL: PlutoniumApe vs. Robocorn ROUND VI: HAIROMANCY
« on: January 19, 2013, 07:40:50 pm »

What happens when two twisted minds collide?

The first a cybernetic steed, whose cornucopia bears nothing but destruction. The other an abominable ape, twisted into humanoid form by Plutonium induced mutation. While their sheer strength could bring about the Apocalypse, their war shall be fought by their sick creations, of whom there are endless to choose from. Their smoldering feud shall be fueled yet again by a battle of life and death.

Two contestants, one arena, no rules.

Join us in the Bay12Games arena, the haven for escaped lunatics, for the fight of the year.
Order the fighters to do your bidding, annihilating their opponent just the way you like it - or cheer for the underdog and help him overcome the ferocity of his enemy. There can be only one.

I hope you're ready folks because this is a no holds barred match where anything can and will happen!

"In the right corner, weighing
in a feisty 90 lbs, the furry cyclops,
the glare with hair, fighting for PlutoniumApe
 it's Hairy-Eyeball-with-a-Unibrow!"

"In the left corner weighing in a
sporty 120 lbs, lady fingerknives,
the living food processor, fighting
on Robocorn's behalf it's Blade Maid!"

Get ready to fight!

That's right everybody, we're back

Hello legitimate questions, allow me to answer you in respective order. You're here because you're a cool guy
and you can tell when something cool's gonna happen (it's all the CGI and excitement). Allow me to provide some backstory as to
what specifically is going to be wicked rad.

A while back Freeform and Dex tried to launch a duel style game on bay12. For some reason, I guess they lost interest. Fast forward to last December, Plutonium Ape and myself are trading sarcastic doodles like bootlegging gangsters trade bullets and we decide that since we had relatively popular forum games that we were neglecting, we could try out that duel thing ourselves, in our own way. Which is to say, with the minimum amount of required coherency, and a surplus of pretty pictures.

The only rules that aren't explicitly variable are as follows.
1.Each round both players roll the fight dice
2.Whoever gets the higher number wins and lands a hit on the opponent.
3.Get hit ten times and you lose.
That's it.

You can have as many cookies as you want if you're willing to pay.

While you don't get to actually participate in the fight you are far from powerless. You get to influence the characters through
the power of yelling at them from the stands and throwing stuff. Almost anything you try to do from the audience will be considered
PlutoniumApe and I are pretty laid back about rule breaking and story incoherency. I reserve the right to make fun of you if you try to destroy
the stadium off the bat.

PlutoniumApe is currently indisposed and will update tomorrow most likely.
I'm free to answer questions for a little while.

If I'm going to do this, I guess I'll do this right.

It was an odd sort. You'd never expect two completely polar opposite folks, a robotic Bowser and a god tier John, watching the fight of two legends. No one knew how they came together, and perhaps they themselves didn't know. Despite the oddity of these two folk, they didn't hold a candle to the stadium.

It was a huge, multi-tiered building, almost built similarly to such buildings as the Pentagon, with few differences. The furthest tier, and the cheapest for seating, was for general guests, with the next two tiers being built similarly, but with more luxury for each tier. The differences between The Stadium and the buildings built like it was The Pit.

The Pit was a big, metal ball at the center of The Stadium. The outer layers of the ball were for special guests, rich visitors, and a few different sorts. The inner layer was for the fights, spectacular as they were special protection was needed for the special guests. The irregularity in this layout arose in something called the bleeding seats. Surrounding the inner layer, that seating was built in the same way as most traditional stadiums. Getting into the bleeding seats was not quite as expensive as some of the more protected layers, but the tradeoff was the personal risk assumed by sitting so close to the fight. Naturally, most people didn't care for the danger, instead sitting in the safer areas.

Ro-Bowser and John were not
"Most people".

It took about thirty minutes of walking and one angry conversation with a guard to get to their seats, but the trip was worth it.

The atmosphere in The Pit was like nothing they had ever seen. Even though not all of the seating was taken, one could not tell for how insanely
loud the crowd was. The two travelers almost couldn't hear themselves think as they went to their seating, about the fifth row behind one of the fighters' starting points. They were just in time for the start of the match, catching almost the last bit about the fighter they sat behind.

As they wait, John reaches down and pulls out a banner that was made just for the occasion. It was very bright banner, which in big print said the words...

PTW!!!!!!!!
