Apart from that - we dug to second and third caverns, and found no flux. So, the best we can have there is iron. I am disappointed.
(...)
In what biome you digged? In mountain or forest?
Embark screen say flux is in forest biome.
Oh! I will check next time.

I just saw a guy with two broken legs push a minecart with a corpse in it. Yeah.

16th Obsidian.
Have I said it's calm and peaceful here? Hell, I was wrong.

So, first we had an invasion of troglodites, and Silver was sent to take care of them. He did fine, stabbed a few trogs in internal organs... but then he ran to catch up one of them, it attacked and Silver fell fucking 13 stages down into the chasm! Luckily he just broke his left hand upon landing, and he was quickly brought to hospital.

I alerted the archer squad and sent them to the hole where those trogs and crundles squeeze into, to scare them away while our masons are building walls. There were some bloody fights because some of archers forgot to take the bolts and went bashing with theis crossbows! And the Usrir's baby was injured (broken leg), but Usrir refuses to bring her in the hospital. Those moms are crazy sometimes.

And then came a giant one-eyed three-tailed feathered theropod with poisonous vapors! Shit, build that wall quickly! Phew, we did it just in time.
You shall not pass, ugly beast!

And we had a few thieves, both goblins and kobolds. They did no harm apart scaring citizens and giving us new task of reloading cage trap.

Good news - we finally found marble! That means, we WILL have precious steel here.

Well, so ends my reign.

Some engravings that explain where is everything:
Current status:

Palisade:

There are some cage traps at outside, randomly placed at the plains. Who wanted to farm kingsnakes?

Expanded farms:

Currently we grow plump helmets and pig tails, at those big farms.

Cavern invasion and the cliif that Silver fell off:

Somewhere in the dark the theropod wanders, but I don't see him now.

The lever to the gate is between dining hall and dormitory!
All females are enlisted into archer squad, under command of Peregar.

I added patched exe into it.

I'll download the save and .exe when I get home. And 13 floors with only a broken hand? I truly AM a badass!

True! Also you've dropped your spear there, so you should order a new one. Preferable masterwork steel one. I guess Peregar (who's duty is to forge stuff) will quite level up his weaponsmithing skill while working on 'Forge silver bolts x30'.

peregarrett, you planted sweet pods? With mod, they grow fastest (only one season)?
Also, you have to farm plump helmets only in spring, because these are harvested in autumn.

From mod's thread:
IMPORTANT: Farm plots should be set such that the desired crop is planted only in the FIRST season of its cycle (e.g. A farm plot is set only to grow plump helmets in Spring, with NOTHING set in any of the other seasons). Planting a crop in the wrong season (e.g. Planting plump helmets in Summer) will result in wasted seeds and no harvest, as the crop will not have enough time to germinate.

Nope. I haven't studied that mod too much.
Whatever, we have plenty of food and booze to sustain for a year. And there's always outside plant gathering.

Problems have arisen, and as such it will be a while, if at all for me to participate. I truly am sorry.

Will it be okay if I mostly wont have screenshots? Because I don't have any experience with using a forum or playing a succession game.(Also my textures glitched)

Ok, but you should then write much more about fort.

Okay, I will start playing tomorrow. For now I will check out what's up in the fortress and how I can make it more efficient.
Will post my thoughts later in an edit.
Edit: Okay, so thing I think I should do at the top of my head:
Sleep with Volfgarix to gain the power of the overseer
Amputate silvers arm and give him a prosthesis made from silver(get some thread and a traction bench and maybe gypsum powder and try to heal the arm)
Set up stockpiles near workshops and general fortress efficiency rising stuff
Try to find some candy and make candy spear for Silver.
Build a well.Make a statue garden.
Save whole dwarfkind without imploding their last bastion of hope in my turn.

Oh, right, I made special slots for statues at the center of stairwell. Just put statues there, without designing a garden, so dwarves can admire them.
