Updated name 4-8-13

I've been following the accelerated mod forum and included some fixes/desired mods

I shortened the name (3-30-2013)
from Accelerated DF Phoebus bronze anvil, skill increase, empty bucket, rock crafts, leather - breakdown wood - cold hammer- 5 plugins
to just
Accelerated Mod Mod DF

implemented some fixes made by Jimmy

implemented FASTER RATE for combat skills (modest mod option)

included a custom reaction to empty buckets (not sure who's this is, I think it's meph's/masterwork concept, or a modest mod concept)

included a bronze anvil (mine)

re-introduced leather gloves/mittens/cap (vanilla)

included cold hammering (masterwork) (ability to forge metal bars without charcoal)

Added [yarn] to material_template_default @[MATERIAL_TEMPLATE:HAIR_TEMPLATE] (jimmy) (3-30-2013)

Tree conservation
included the ability build many items from stone blocks to help with conserving trees
craft from stone block (masterwork)
bin, barrel, chest, bed (boulder), bucket, splint, crutches
Fixed craft rock bed... wasn't working, updated naming to boulder vs block as well. (4-4-2013)

included the ability to breakdown many wood items to produce wood logs (arclance)

included dfhack r3 with a bunch of stuff from falconne v.16

oh yes, this is a patched binary with various fixes

Patched a fix that allows Hero Dwarf's to assign labors (4-7-2013)
Note: to assign labors to Dwarf's inside Dwarf Therapist, one must edit the game_data.ini and edit can_assign_labors=false to true for the Hero Professions
There is maybe 7 profession's to edit

Added 3 new civilizations (4-13-13)
  • Orcs (human sized goblins that wear bronze and have increased strength)
  • Xelics (from CivForge)
  • Sand Raiders (from CivForge)

get fun for some madness

I've got near 95 downloads.

The game is stated as being "cheatier", and I have to agree...

I'm wanting to add a few things... I want to add

bronze armor for goblins

and two races from civforge.

Sand Raiders

as well as

both Xelics

I'm also eying the possibliity of hobgoblins.

I don't think anyone is expecting me to carry this mod far, but IF IT IS too easy (I think the combat skill adjustment causes that, I may nerf that, or carry it up to par with enemy civs)...

I'm thinking of doing it in increments, but I don't really like to play the game in increments...  I may want to add the other races without adjusting the other factors... but I don't know, maybe the skill rates is really what needs to be adjusted.

Using bold or different size, linebreakers or lists would help your presentation quite a bit ;)

Its just very difficult to understand what you say

if you type a few words

like this, without capital letters or .,:

PS: Same is true for your signature. Most people dont know what a LabOpt or EffStatMil or FrzBio is.

At work when I have to send out professional looking emails, I spend the time to edit them.  Here on forum's... well it shows how much I care, this stuff is just to keep me entertained (typing forum posts).  If this were a serious mod I just might spend the time to make it look all perty, but until then... I'm just throwing dirty messy ideas around until I feel like I need to up my game a bit and improve on the presentation.

The signature looks the way it does because I tried to put as many links in it as possible and the url's take up most of the character limit.

So I've made some changes, it's in beta, as in I'm still testing it (and I want to merge it with 1.1 accelerated mod), but... I've added:
  • Xelics (CivForge)
  • Sand Raiders (CivForge)
  • Orcs (My own creation of modding goblins to human size, giving them strength++, and the ability to manufacture bronze items).

That should make it feel less "cheatier" as now the dwarf's should have their hands full with raiders

I also want to nerf modest mod's skill learn rate... As is, after 2-3 combats, you tend to have hero dwarf's... I found this a little excessive... especially if enemy units don't get the same favors.

I've now discontinued support for this mod as I've merged what I felt were the most important aspects of civforge into this mod.  I'll be posting the updated link shortly after I verify it's working as intended.
