You turn off the beaten path and into the alleyway. At first you don't notice anything, but then you see another flash of purple-black swirling around another corner.

You skid around the corner into the other alleyway. This one is blocked off by a chainlink fence, to high to climb quickly. The doors lead into backrooms of shops, or into the shops proper, and are probably locked.

The Girl spins around.

"W-Why are you following me?!" stutters Hanako in terror.

Do something that looks like apologizing, then indicate that we can't speak.  Also, give her a peace sign so that she knows we mean no harm(those basically mean the same thing in Japan, right?)
