I'm a bit late but I got a couple of minutes until my cookies are ready. Senator Yee's arrest is quite important because it has tainted the Californian gun control movement. Yee was connected to the Brady bunch to Feinstein and several other senators, all of which have been busy trying to erase everything connecting him to them.

They recently had a press conference and all of them looked like autistic children on the verge of a nervous breakdown. Hopefully this will enable the repeal of at least some of the draconian gun laws in California. And if there is one state in the union that deserves slacker gun laws its the Californians.

Yeah, that's not partisan blinders.

Your right, having a well known anti-gun state senator who was well connected within the gun control movement arrested for trafficking machine guns and rocket launchers couldn't possibly harm the anti-gun lobby at all!

Dude, there's nothing left to be done.  We all know that liberalism was completely destroyed by benghazi/solyndra/fast n' furious/the birth certificate/Climategate/whatever the hell else.  It's not like conservatives are deluded idiots who inanely hope that whatever stupid "scandal" they are harping on will work this time!  With so many completely 100% legit scandals already past us, there's no liberal movement left to destroy.

Hey, remember that time the most powerful republican politician in the country had an affair while trying to get the democratic president impeached for getting a BJ on the slide?  Remember when that came out?  Remember how it completely destroyed the conservative values movement?  Oh wait, the conservative values movement wasn't destroyed?  Gee, I guess Speaker of the House just isn't important enough, you gotta go after the big fish like a state senator.

It's California. Even if they get repealed for being hilariously stupid laws (and have scandals really had much impact on Cali politics in the past anyway?), they aren't going to be turned into "reasonable" laws - they're just going to off half-cocked in a different but equally retarded direction.

Also, mainiac - you're being... kind of a dick right now? And barely even making a point. I don't know what bee got in your bonnet, but it's... not doing much for whatever it is you're trying to argue here. Beyond "Scandals don't really seem to have much of an impact on political" movements, which would have been far more persuasive as, well.. that, really.

You need to apply some ointment to your butt because it sounds horribly chapped. For some reason you don't believe a local scandal will have any local impact. Well, whatever bloats your goat I guess.

The preferred solution would be california sliding into the ocean, which in retrospect would probably be more likely than anything pro-freedom happening in california.

Hey I resent that, but only because I live in California and don't want to live IN the ocean rather than near it.

But ask yourself; is that really worth getting tetchy over? There are better ways of putting stuff like that. If you carry on like that you'll scare off the few Republicans/slightly right of centre people this forum still has.

They must think injustice absurd; above all, they must think it startling. They must retain the violence of a virgin astonishment. When the pessimist looks at any infamy, it is to him, after all, only a repetition of the infamy of existence. But the optimist sees injustice as something discordant and unexpected, and it stings him into action.

In a thread run by a self-professed Neo-Nixonist and far-left pseudo-reactionary.

Carry on, everyone.
