It technically never left, it was just on moratorium due to the ever-growing legal clusterfuck of Constitutionally justifying it. It likely won't last very much longer, as the courts are rapidly running out of room to interpret it as allowed.

Just learned than a NAACP office in Colorado was bombed today.  Thankfully, it was a lousy attempt and no one was hurt.  Somebody placed a pipe bomb next to a gas can against the side of the building, and the gas can didn't ignite.
