It's always 'Rank first'.

If both supports have the same rank, then it's 'Distance first'.

If distance and ranks are the same, only then you can choose your support :P

Also I have an itching to do FEF Gaiden where people can play a sidestory, same year, different place, but semi-tied with main game (and it would be shorter, of course).

I hate my itchings sometimes.

Guiding Ring's with Tant now, probably holding off until 20.

Also so we don't forget, At some point during the intermission, Olison gives the Heavy Gauntlet to Tantallos.

Yes, Chris gave the guiding ring to Tantallos, but as far as I know he hasn't used it.

Yeah, Tantallos won't use it until lv20. And yeah, during the intermission you can pass the gauntlet.
