Amazingly enough he used the same attack pattern on the other elf that he disabled too.  Fired at the buttock, fired at the buttock, (blocked), fired at the thigh.  Orcish arrow never fails

We did get enough welded mithril from the Dwarf raid for one very nice breastplate, which your Orc claimed immediately

Piece of advice: stockpile your iridium wafers next to the forge and save them for weaponsmith moods. The artifact makers in my current fort really like great axes for some reason.

Broken's bloodsteel claws were the only weapons that pierce mithril, and Dohon is strong enough to take off an elf's whole leg in one swing, so they racked up kills in that battle (lasher Agrat had at least one too according to his tombstone).  In fights against lesser enemies the two swordsorcs rack up kills fast while Broken Mind slowly disassembles one foe. 

In general the ranged squads have been more valuable than the kill count suggest -- you can get an idea from their skills in the other post that they've been getting a lot of rounds in (it was all live fire practice through about Opal of 252).
