Are we expecting a more or less combat  focused game?

Are we expecting a more or less combat  focused game?

I'd personally would let the players decide that, however I wouldn't bank on the game ever staying combat lite too long. Given the setting.

There I have Nethys down.

The Night sky is magic in this setting. While each star represents a different fragment of destiny and power, the black upon which they all perch is Nethys.

Hense why Nethys is often refered to as the Black Curtain.

The only diety who can dirrectly interfere with worldly events without a conduit is Nethys. Any diety who sets foot inside this world is turned to stone and plummets.

What attribute pool are we using? 20 points?

And you haven't sent me your email yet.

20 point-buy and 100 starting gp was stated before, somewhere.

Ah, I see he mentioned it on the first page. Missed that.

Already saw the 100gp. That's a tight budget, won't be able to get very good armor :D Just a chain shirt by itself costs that much, guess I'll have to get studded.

Future gear can come cheaper, I'll be investing heavily into crafting.

Good. I have no armor. Just a giant sword.

My character is part aspiring duelist, part second story man, and part thug.
I went with Cad Fyi(s)

Don't worry though - he is skilled in disable device, stealth, bluff, and acrobatics.

Yes, but I think it is an interesting blend and can help fulfill several rogue-like niches.
I was striving for a very unique character, and I'm very impressed with the ways that pathfinder (as opposed to what I am used to (3/3.5E)) lets you manipulate the system to irk out what you want.

Have I let you down by going more fighter?

Girlinhat thanks for the awesome new sig.

My character is in your face dirty giant sword fighting, so I wont be stepping on archer toes.

EDIT: Also, judging by the the setting described so far, this looks like it is a very nasty, brutish, and hostile world. So more combat ability could never hurt!

I am used to 3.5 so I thought 100 gold was being generous for level 1.

Average gp for casters is 75~125 from what I'm seeing on source material.

average for melee fighters is 150~175. We have specific dice rolls to determine starting gp, should we use it? or are we just going to have a universal pool?

Well, he said universal 100gp.  I suppose that's what we're using.

We'll just have to kill....unfortunates....and take their stuff. Or take their money and use it to buy stuff.
