I was actually going to make an oracle instead of a rogue this time

Ugh, I may drop out of this game, but I'll see where this goes.

Are you concerned that I won't be rogue enough for you?

Nope, I am more concerend about this party taking up too much time without me really fitting in,
It's what we do for leisure after all, right?
I really wanted to roll a spellcaster since i already have a cavalier somewhere else, and we already have 3 spellcasters :p
and a rogue.
Which means I am probably going to have to play another melee fighter.
Ugh.

The best parties are unbalanced.  Just roll up what you want to play, and play it to the best of your abilities.  Sure, it's nice when you can see all the traps and shoot at enemies from behind a shield wall, but isn't it so much more interesting when 5 paper-delicate wizards wander in to face the ogres?

I would go with what you want to go with instead of worrying about party balance, it is for fun after all and its more important for you to have a role you enjoy rather than us having the optimal build for fighting.

I'd rather have a poorly thought-out scream fest as we can't handle the single kobold that's come too close, than have an easy walk of barbarians and archers railing the dungeon.

Fine, I'll roll a swordlord or an archer.. or a spellcaster. If neonivek is fast enough to send us the world details no later than tomorrow.
If not, due to exams coming next week, I may have to skip the first session. :p

I agree with all previous statements. However, if you really want a rogue, I will be the melee guy.

Wat. I don't want a rogue. I considered it, but I am simply not a rogue material :S

Oh - I misunderstood. Doing 100 things at once!

NEONIVEK I WANT THE SETTING MATERIAL SO I CAN DREAM UP AN AMAZING CHARACTER TO ROLE PLAY VICIOUSLY.

You can make a caster. Just go with what you want, we'll deal with it. Maybe a caster with some buffs, then you can beef up the rogue or the magus to be the front line warrior  ;)

Having two of them wouldn't hurt anything. Go for it :)

I'm also a wizard, but being utility-focused I won't be a whole lot of good in combat.  By contrast, the Magus has poor utility and should be treated more as melee class than anything else.
