hey folks, I'm not sure this is the right place to post this, but I need some help.

I'm using dwarf therapist 0.6.12 branch version 21.2, and Dwarf Fortress 0.34.1 on OSX Mountain Lion.

When I change a dwarf's profession in DT and commit the change, the dwarf's profession doesn't change.  The jobs do, but not the profession.  Has anyone seen this or know how to fix it?

How long of a profession did you attempt to assign (i.e. how many characters)? Did the dwarf have a custom profession beforehand? If so, was it shorter than the profession you tried to assign?

The profession i'm assigning is 'Unskilled', custom profession. It's replacing "Siege Engineer", which is the profession the migrant came with.

So the answer is "no".

Try assigning a 9+ character custom profession in-game, clearing it, and then assigning it through Therapist.

Ah that's a shame. I have a mac though, so since it's on github maybe I'll take a crack at it.
