Indigo, Ith, & Ralu:
You walk down the central hallway to the dark storeroom ahead, seeing as there might be something dangerous around the corners and you need to confirm the safety. Still facing the door, the leftwards path is empty, but a little damaged, and the rightwards path contains a large smear of sap on the floor, mixed with a droplet or two of blood. Where Ith stands, a clip that looks to be the caliber required for Ralu's gun lies on the ground. A fluttering of wings can be heard nearby.

Grab the clip and throw it at to Ralu.

Flip a coin. If heads, go left. If tails, go right. If I don't have a coin, go left.

Of course, maybe I'm over thinking this, and the... Thing murdered something down the right path and didn't clean it up, but I guess It's a risk I'm going to take."

Indigo:
You toss a battery up in the air and go in whichever direction the battery's positive side faces. The battery lands facing forwards, so it looks like you're going into the dark room. Hope you can find a flashlight in there.

Ith:
Walking down the hall, the sap starts to be used for crude writing practice. You have no idea what these characters are; maybe ask one of the Iloial.

It's very dark. Ralu would have almost tripped over something if she didn't have good reflexes. Both of you search, and Indigo is the one who stumbles across a metal box, roughly cubic in shape, heavy, and about a foot in each dimension. Flutter.
