Probably not (I forgot it existed, tbh); note that that version in the error is in 0.34.11, so a much older version. The gist is also for 0.34.11 specifically.

yeah, use the latest version of force, which doesn't use whatever stupid thing is going on there (looks like I was trying to find an entity using df.global.world.history.entities.all or something along those lines, which is very, very wrong).

So I got the newest version and it's still giving me an error. This time a different one though:

Anyway, in the last line, replace eventType with EventType.

Edit: Uh, one more little thing though: I can't seem to get nightcreatures or megabeasts on the map. Is there any specific requirement for those to spawn, or be forced, or has my world run out of them (the world did have a long history)?

They could be all gone, night creature events don't really work (they simply exist), megabeast events you might have to wait for.

Alright, thanks! Then I'll try to wait and see if a beast shows up. The migrants work fine though, so thanks again for that.

I'm having trouble with some items that used to work with itemsyndrome (a long time ago with an old version) but no longer.


never mind; it works again when i roll everything back to the old version.  Hooray, backups.  :)

nothing does anything except force siege(caravan)

Which dfhack and df version are you using?

I have a similar Problem while using 40.13 r4

Entering 'force siege PLAINS', 'force siege MOUNTAIN' and 'force siege FOREST' summons a caravan from the respective civilizations Humans, Dwarves and Elves. The same works with 'force diplomat'.
Adding 'EVIL' or 'SKULKING' to and force command doesn't do anything. I can summon migrants with 'force migrants' but any other 'force' prompt pretty much results in nothing happening.

Maybe an incompatibility issue with 40.13 r4 but it's a real shame since this script in particular sounds like a lot of !fun!.
