The soldiers in the fortress are more skilled than I thought. This might take a few goes to get right.

Hard science is like a sword, and soft science is like fear. You can use both to equally powerful results, but even if your opponent disbelieve your stabs, they will still die.

Motor nerve damage?
Nope, just a broken bone. Healed it up by waiting for a couple of hours.

Dawn was breaking as Namar crept into the fortress once more. The guards were awake, or in the process of waking up. The first, a lasher, collapsed with an arrow in his throat. The second and third passed out from pain as arrows chipped and broke their bones. Their lives were ended shortly after, with a dagger to the face.
Inside the keep proper, Namar paused. Standing right in front of him was the macegoblin who shattered his ankle bone. A few slashes took off her hand, and then her leg. She bled out after a couple of minutes.

With the fortress cleared, Namar collected what food he could, and set out eastwards again.

Travelling south, due to a third lake getting in the way, he eventually came across a large stone building. It was roughly cube-shaped, and was accessible via a single locked door. With no tools to pick the lock, Namar simply kicked it down. Inside, a corridor stretched from a door to the left and a slab to the right.
It read:

"Woe unto any who disturb the rest of Baktur Stithngatedquek.
The General watches still."

Have you never heard of the curse of the mummy?

You may say you're not superstitious, but those who don't believe in fairy tales like bogeymen and vampires and trolls stalking the night regularly end up donating their bones for decorations on goblin armour in this world...

Not superstitious? No, it's not that at all.
You see, about The Night in general...
I don't fear you.
