Author Topic: Dwarf Therapist - compiled on Linux mint - but not changing profession  (Read 4736 times)

I've managed to compile dwarf therapist on my linux mint 14 machine, and applied the small command line hack to allow it to read DF memory:
Code: [Select]
sudo echo 0 > /proc/sys/kernel/yama/ptrace_scope
Things can read and write to DF using DT, but when I change the profession of a dwarf, it doesn't get pushed to DF.

Is there anything else I'm missing here?

Running df 3.4.11 with phoebus graphics.

TIA

That's odd. I've tested several recent DT versions on Linux Mint 13, running DT as admin and got all sort of bad behaviour: Slowness, red squares in grid, crashes, but not this. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. The last stable version was 19.3 I think.

Since you seem to criticize most things harsher than concentrated acid, I'll take that as a compliment.
