OK, I changed it to mountainhomes. I hope it will work.

EDIT: Now the fire imps are at the top of the list, but they say "No trade". How do I fix that?

Good! So I was right to start out with.

You have to give them an  ACTIVE_SEASON , or they will not attack and trade.

"No trade" can mean that they don't have the tokens for Common Domestic Pack or Common Domestic Pull animals.

I didn't forget them, I removed them on purpose. I will put them back. Now the problem is this - the imps won't pick up equipment such as picks and axes, but will still do other jobs (like dismantling the wagon).

I ran into this problem myself.

The picks and axes are too big for them, you need to make smaller ones. I found this out when I tried to make fairies playable in their current size.

I'm a little farther along now. Is there a way to make it so imps will use cavern creatures? Is there a way to remove their clothes without giving them a bad thought?
