I have no idea what that arm-like (jaw-like?) thing in the middle of the thornbill's chest is, nor what those things that it connects to are. It looks like a mandible, but the placement and structure confuses me. However, that is made irrelevant due to WHAT THE HELL IS THAT THING IT LOOKS LIKE IT WANTS TO GRIND MY BONES TO A PASTE AFTER REMOVING MY EYEBALLS AAARGH. Also, I love that you put the third eye in it's beak. It's a nice touch.

Seeing as it is flying under the starlit sky, those are probably the last surviving dwarves.
They managed to flee to the surface, yet the beast burst through the gates, dooming the fortress for all days to come.
