"leader" and "consort"

These both appear at the top of my "z" screen over the soldier types. what are they? how do i get them? what do they do? etc... i didnt find anything in the wiki about them.

On the Z screen? No that does not sound right.

However, the "Leader" is likely the Expedition Leader (one of the initial seven dwarves chosen to do all the bookkeeping, negotiating etc).

Consorts are the spouses of Nobles (Baron/Count, Duke, King or Queen).

The 'leader' and 'consort' spots on your [z] screen are reserved for your king or queen and his or her consort when they arrive.  I'm not sure why they are listed with your military dwarves since they will also show up on your [n]obles screen.  My guess is that it is a throwback to an older version.
