It would have been rather funny if we had done an organized thing where nobody posted at all today, but I suspect that most of us couldn't muster the will.  :P

Or if he actually made a fake Dwarf Fortress Kickstarter website page.

Some sort of effort put into the joke would really make the difference between this being a "APRIL FOOLS! You thought this was something worthwhile but it wasn't, clearly you are the biggest fool of all" and this being a "APRIL FOOLS! Now enjoy this hillarious parody of Kickstarter and Dwarf Fortress, clearly the biggest fool of all are people who didn't check out this awsome April fools joke!"

Lol, about the only thing the kickstarter money could help with is to hire Michael Abrash to do assembler optimization of the path-finding routines.
