Any good Dwarf Mode tutorials?

Well, throughout my years of playing Dwarf Fortress have I ever had a good fort running, I usually abandon them 1 day after because of lack of interest and I thought it wasn't the game, it was my lack of knowledge! So, are there any good tutorials out there?

I used the Quickstart Guide to figure out the basics, and a lot of trial and error to work out the specific details.

Listen up: making a thing a ‼thing‼ doesn't make it more awesome or extreme.  It simply indicates the thing is on fire.  Get it right or look like a silly poser.

It's useful to keep a ‼torch‼ handy.

I recommend captnduck on teh Youtubes. The Quickstart guide on the wiki is harder to follow (for beginners) than his videos are. I learned to play DF from him, too.
Only after you've mastered the basics can you move on to DF Wiki.
