And you're on the run. You just pulled off a pretty damn good scam, and the targets just ran you out of town. The year is 2000, and you're a mile out of Green Road, Missouri. You have $500 in one pocket, and a gun in the other, what do you do?

-Last seen driving off into Jeff city after dropping you at the hostel.

You already know some card tricks, although you don't have any cards, as well as some sleight of hand. You practice with a dollar bill while attempting to hitchhike. You briefly contemplate hopping on a train, but by the time one comes past it's going way too fast. Someone eventually stops and rolls down the window. "Where ya headed, stranger?"

[Elfeater]

"Jeff city friend"
(Boooo not Kansas.)

[Scelly9]

"Perfect. I'm headed there myself. Toss your shit in the back and hop in" You don't have anything to toss in back, so you just climb in. He sets off at a nice speed, and you watch the mile markers fly by. The silence is broken about half an hour later. "So, what's your story?"

[Elfeater]

"Well, I'm from Illinois myself, had some family issues, so I hit the road to let steam off, and give my folks some time to cool off."

[Scelly9]

"Heh, generic hitckhikers background then? I've heard that story too much. I never caught your name, by the way."

[Elfeater]

"Nicholas Evanhart, yours?"

[Dredonius]

Hank Williams, yours?

[Scelly9]

"Evanhart. Fancy." He pauses to flip off a large truck that swerves into his lane. "Bastard. Anyway, I'm Peter"

[Elfeater]

"Good name, I knew a Peter back in Illinois. Good kid."

[Scelly9]

"Yeah, well..." He trails off into silence. The car keeps going.

[Elfeater]

"Well...?" Look and see what his face is showing emotionally.

[Scelly9]

"Nothing, don't worry about it." He seems to be a bit sad, but also guarded.

[Elfeater]

"Righto. So you from Jefferson City?"
