1. Generate a world with the RAW files that you want to play with.
2. KEEP A BACKUP OF YOUR UNEDITED RAW FILES somewhere safe.
3. Go to "\data\save\region1\raw\objects" and make the following edits:
- in "inorganic_stone_layer.txt", remove the [REACTION_CLASS:FLUX] token from MARBLE
- in "inorganic_stone_mineral.txt", remove the [REACTION_CLASS:FLUX] token from CALCITE
- in "inorganic_stone_mineral.txt", remove the [METAL_ORE:XXX:XXX] tokens from all stones, except for [METAL_ORE:IRON:100] on the three iron ores.
4. Search for an embark site using the site finder, set for "flux:yes" and "shallow metal:YES" (not multiple!). Maybe 3-5 embark sites per world will appear, typically on the coast next to an ocean.
5. Choose a site and embark. Save and quit once you see the wagon.
6. Replace "inorganic_stone_layer.txt" and "inorganic_stone_mineral.txt" in "\data\save\region1\raw\objects" with the unedited versions that you saved elsewhere.
7. Play the game and enjoy!

Disclaimer: some mods may add new metals to the world in other *.txt files which will mess up this process. Those metals must also be disabled, unless of course they are new iron ores, in order to correctly locate the iron+flux that you want.

Disclaimer: generating a world with the other metals pre-disabled will cause civilizations to not have access to those metals. You must generate the world first, then disable the other metals.
