I wish mummy curses were procedurally generated and had the ability to do much weirder things. Perhaps even reflective of the personality and actions of the figure in life.

Think of it. A curse which makes you randomly have a 20% chance to get severely inebriated every so and so. Or one that makes you fly into uncontrollable, murderous rage, representing the worst aspects of the mummy's values.

That sounds like the kind of thing that will probably come with mythgen (not that curses will be exclusive to mummies anymore by that point).

It's easy to deal with curses. You can just bring a companion and have the guy aggro the mummy so the mummy curses your companion and not you.

Or be a vampire. The mummy won't even attack you.
