I'm fine with that, or are we continuing?

Might be easier to just start a new season and reassess who's in.

For the record, I'm perfectly content with the pace of this season: It matches my schedule well to only play one or two matches a month.

Nah, that's not official. Basically, there isn't an option for double round robin using FUMBBL itself, so we're just doing two back-to-back single round robin tourneys. The points are up to date on the tourney page, but the tiebreakers aren't official and the schedule remains in the OP.

That said, yes, we should play some games, huh? Blood for the Blood Bowl!

Yeah, I think FUMBBL is still working! I played there for a while, but games would take too long. I wonder if there's a game with similar gameplay that can be played in around an hour or less...

I have no personal experience, but in a moment of serendipity I saw this blog on my maintenance foray.



Anywho, Season 2 is officially in the books with no champion, which means we're currently looking to see if we can scrape up enough players to run Season 3! Naturally, I'm in and still willing to organize things if need be. I intend to play my Slann team again, and I'm leaning towards a single round robin season.

I got the urge to play this a lot recently, but just fired up Blood Bowl: Chaos Edition. It takes less time per match than a FUMBBL game, which can take upwards of 1.5, 2h, something I find hard to justify these days

P.S. this might or might not have to do with my sucking and losing every FUMBBL match

The imminent return of NFL football has me jonesing for some Blood Bowl; any takers out there for Season 3?

I was actually intending to bump this next week; the client FUMBBL runs on will be getting a major upgrade, which apart from fixing a host of bugs and making some technical improvements to lay a base for future updates, will feature the debut of the Dirty Tricks deck in the Magic Card inducement list. For 50k a card, you get a shot at such gamechangers as Spiked Ball (failed catches and pickups result in the player being stabbed for one drive,) Trampoline Trap (target opponent is Thrown 1d6 squares,) and Illegal Substitution (place a player from your reserves to your endzone at the beginning of your turn.)

It should be good fun, and Magic Cards are the sort of thing not available in the Cyanide client. I'm always down for some FUMBBL.

We don't have a season currently running, but if we can get enough players I'd certainly like to do another season!
