No. It will eat the other insect.

Good thing I suggested the poison protection.

No time to mess around, Squash it like the bug it is, Squishee, activate hammer mode!

Dual Wield. Use your sword as well.

Aim for the eyes.

No. It has too many for you to get them all, and many insects can survive for a good deal of time without their head. Either disarm it by cutting off the fangs and some legs, or go for the kill by attacking one of it's lower body segments.

Lead it out to the other insect, and try to distract it with the (hopefully) attractive female insect.
Hopefully attractive, hopefully female, or hopefully the same species?

Use knowledge of arthropod anatomy and try to sever the abdomen.

No time to mess around, Squash it like the bug it is, Squishee, activate hammer mode!

You give the INSECT(?) a good thwack across the face, hitting one of its seven eyes.
Its FANGS graze you, drawing blood.

It retreats.

You don't think the INSECT(?) will be a threat in the future.
On an entirely unrelated note, you hope to stumble across the ELEMENTAL PLANE OF SOAP so that you can wash out your eyes.

Bitch out. Bolt for the next room.

You enter the right side of the room.
The SPIRAL STONE is here.

Take the Spiral Stone and the blue powder, and then press the pink button.

Take the Spiral Stone and the blue powder, and then press the pink button.
Also, if anything looks remotely dangerous or odd, RUN.

Don't steal from your crazy employer. Just take the Stone and Bitch out.

Buy the Tree of Creation and Black Hand Jack's Journal with your store credit and refund.

Then go meet up with Charlie, and watch him get the warding done. Try to avoid getting pranked, attacked, or teased by the Archmages daughter.

^ This. Including buying choices.

Consult with Charlie and see if we can secretly add a ward that will explode the tower with a command word if we need to. Always good to have a trump.

We need to brownose the Archmage, not extend the feud. If we can't patch things up or at least learn to tolerate him, we should just leave town and find another Wiz Guild. We don't need to do anything rash.

But what if our feud doesn't go away and we find ourselves at mortal odds with an archmage? What if we further offend/injure/injure+offend his daughter? We should have a catch-all backup plan. Blow his a** up inside his own tower.

At any rate, after buying Black Hand Jack's Book of Whack Majack, we should prepare some kind of protective circle to read it in. While we are outside the circle. Callously reading ancient tomes of dark magic is often eventful, exciting, and fatal.

May I also suggest recharging our mana? I recall it being nearly empty.

As to adding self-destruct...if there's no way the Archmage could detect it, I'd +1 right away, but as there probably is I'm a bit less certain.
