It would seem so:

quote:

   [PERSONALITY:IMMODERATION:0:55:100]
   [PERSONALITY:VULNERABILITY:0:45:100]
   [PERSONALITY:STRAIGHTFORWARDNESS:0:55:100]

This is untested, but by looking at the different creatures in the raws and comparing to their assumed personalities [/lots of smart-sounding meaningless words]
I think the personality tags MIGHT work like this:

[PERSONALITY:PERSONALITY_PARAMETER:min:average:max]

This is completely untested.

What I DO want now in return is a complete list of all the personality parameters.

Edit:
after writing this I remembered a trick I read about earlier, and came up with this list:

ANXIETY
ANGER
DEPRESSION
SELF_CONSCIOUSNESS
IMMODERATION
VULNERABILITY
FRIENDLINESS
GREGARIOUSNESS
ASSERTIVENESS
ACTIVITY_LEVEL
EXCITEMENT_SEEKING
CHEERFULNESS
IMAGINATION
ARTISTIC_INTEREST
EMOTIONALITY
ADVENTUROUSNESS
INTELLECTUAL_CURIOSITY
LIBERALISM
TRUST
STRAIGHTFORWARDNESS
ALTRUISM
COOPERATION
MODESTY
SYMPATHY
SELF_EFFICACY
ORDERLINESS
DUTIFULNESS
ACHIEVEMENT_STRIVING
SELF_DISCIPLINE
CAUTIOUSNESS

this MIGHT be it.
I still have no idea what half of it does however.   :(
STRAIGHTFORWARDNESS is fairly straightforward (PUN!   :D ), but what the ****** is GREGARIOUSNESS???

A list might be good if you may, as I am no psychologist and not even a native English speaker.

Edit2: half might be a bit of an exaggeration, I read it thought and I think I can at least make an educated guess about all except maybe 4-5, I suppose I will just look them up in an dictionary or something.

If Toady posted a list over their in-game effects however...

It would be nice to have a utility for editing dwarf personalities and preferences; it would take a long time to get an Urist-style ANXIETY 100, ANGER 100, FRIENDLINESS 0, TRUST 0, ALTRUISM 0 dwarf by random generation.

(I wouldn't mind an option for personality point-buy, either.)

ATTENTION: Toady the Great has listened to our wishes and created a modding forum. Now I can get my question answered!

Beware. Not of the E, or of the U, or even of the &, @, and b. Beware the #.<BR>(Translation:) Beware. Not of the elephants, or of the unicorns, or even the demons, carp, and badgers. Beware the husks, for they are relentless, corrupting, and unstoppable. Only the might of hell itself can even keep it in check; and only for a small period of time. If one sees such a being; run away, unless you like the idea of joining their ranks.

Dictionary.com is your friend.

A gregarious person is one who talks a lot.
