Perhaps you could take the unpopped version and enchant it with a spell to heat it up upon impact, then use it as a grenade.

Can you imagine the crafting potential of such a reagent?

I make an offhand comment about god-popcorn and by the time I come back, you guys are already planning on how to use it to kill more people.

I don't know whether to be impressed, amused, unsurprised, or to make plans against the party deciding to invoke the gods to steal sacred popcorn. All of them, just to be safe.

[I... I have completely forgotten why I wrote this half way through. It was originally about popcorn, but I think I lost sight of that after a while.]

I'm not entirely sure what I just read, but it's canon now.

Where are my blessings? Didn't Pantxike or whatever his name is make it so everyone got the blessings?

Nope, those that share a faith share buffs.

Question: does that include negative effects?

Also, it seems the aoe didn't effect your ghouls.

Pantxike made it so spells intended to give Divine blessings to their allies also gave Divine blessings to everyone in the battlefield who shares the faith, and also gave his follower all the buffs. If/when someone invokes Darsh, all of the followers will probably get buffed by his mere presence.

Also, no, debuffs are not buffs. Spontaneous deafness from LOUD NOISES isn't gonna magically spread.

EDIT: I LOVE THIS FONT CHOICE SO MUCH

Player hat: It was a simple plan, involving sneaking up on the good guys and ambushing them.

Less than a minute later, it's such a colossal clusterfuck that the gods themselves came down to watch. This may just be my keen sense of the obvious, but I think something went wrong and it's a good idea to run away from the flamethrower-fondling fanatic firebrands in the famous fireworks factory.

DM hat: Pretty much all I have to say is "+1 to free will, -1 to rails" and laugh in the delight of there being evidence for player agency being awesome. At this rate, you guys would rocket-jump the cart if you DID get put on rails.

...note to self: should the players ever trigger a rail, do an "offscreen heroics too strange or disturbing to describe and mutually quietly agreed to never speak of it again" roll.
