Forcefield clarification needed
« on: May 27, 2013, 06:38:24 pm »

So my armorsmith whipped up an orichalcum forcefield with an image of said forcefield on it. Beyond being amazingly meta, what does it do specifically?

I slapped it on my commander and will await result, but he is pretty amazing to begin with so results may not accurately reflect the forcefield itself.

Thanks!

That is quite simply awesome. I'm pretty sure it's just a really good armor, but I don't have the raws in front of me to poke around in...

It's a very nice armor identical (iirc) to a runerobe.  cover layer, low size, high layer permit, over 100 coverage.

Its a very small (size/weight) armor that can be worn above your normal armor and has max coverage over everything. Essentially like a cloak, it encompasses your unit almost entirely. I think only fingers and toes are not protected. Its more or less a free second armor layer for everything.

I wanted to make them for mages and warlock invaders, but a "steel forcefield" sounded weird, so I never did. Maybe I could make auras. Dwarf equips a golden aura, an iron aura, and so forth...
