LCS - Now available on Android?

So, uh - this is a thing.  :o



I looked through the forums and didn't see anything about it here, but I just searched the Google Play store for it on a whim, and lo and behold, it was uploaded just last week. I'm currently testing it out on my Galaxy S3, and it seems to work pretty damn well.

People have been talking about this for ages. There is even dedicated a thread about it. Though I agree you would expect them to post there about publishing it. For publicity, if nothing else.

Oh, I certainly meant myself!

I'm generally the first to credit Tarn, but if he felt that sense of LCS growing up and leaving his care, it was probably years ago. For me, this was the first time I've seen someone really take the game from my hands and just run with it. A lot of people have contributed to the core game, or released mods here on the forums, but I've never seen it just show up on a phone with a GUI before.

Actually, speaking of, I'd be excited to see the source code of the Android port.

It's version 4.04, not sure how much effort it's going to be for this person to update to the newest versions. But yeah, it plays impressively well on my mediocre as hell smartphone (don't even ask what it is, I have no idea).

Well, it just crashed on my Samsung Galaxy XCover, so I suppose some further development is needed. Still, it's awesome that someone is actually doing this. :)
