In looking over the other dwarves, none seem to to have hair "up top".  It seems the females just don't sport beards.  Perhaps she's a mul. (Half dwarf, half human)

Journal entry 1

We finally go to the site designated "the lonely mountain." After many days of the nonstop bad weather we finally arrived. We dug some basic rooms in the mountain and I was named broker and bookkeeper (correct?) I suppose that's fine until I get the supplies for my inn everyone else seems to busy with general construction which is fine it's not like many people will be passing through just now. There has also already been fighting between the smiths and the miners although I don't know what it was about.

The Forbidden City will begin with the "White Castle" district.  A mighty "Doom Loo" will be built to Armok's glory, allowing His Chosen to flush their enemies down into the very bowels of the earth.  I've saved the winter season for the Lonely Mountain embark, if anyone dorfed for that game wants to take a look.  (Meph the hermit stole a BUNCH of booze, and buzzards made off with all the lobster somehow.  Meanwhile, a friendly dwarf child with a goblin tattoo on her arm has been hanging around the southeast sector of the embark, hiding from the dragon with a few others.  I'll make a more complete seasonal report later and link to it in the first page

Can we lure the dragon onto traps? Wait, right... We don't have a mechanic yet.

And I think everyone is going to vote the pink Floyd reference you got up there...

So Highmax can reincarnate as either a ghost or a (and this one may be more fun) as a magical sword that is passed from one dwarf to another, each one becoming "the Highmax" (Maybe wearing this sword increases the ability to make swords?).  Immortality can be fun.  All we need to do is mod the weapon files to add the "special" weapon to the list and the sword will be included.  (I'm pretty sure) Likewise all the other founders of the Lonely Mountain - I'll need ideas for what kind of item will be the resting place for their soul when they die.  Each person who "inherits" these items will also host that player's will.  Which will make for interesting "adventurers" who loot the item and suddenly become the vessel of "the Highmax" or "the Darkening Kaos" as well...

Actually, instead of a special sword, you might be inside a special anvil instead, or an amulet that looks like a sword or an anvil - stuff like that.

The most gimmicky would be just to role-play that the whatsit "gave" the person claiming them certain skills and just mod them in by hand.

Done! Any particular requirement on what kind of stuff is needed to make the "Cursed Anvil of Highmax"?  Pretty much, this'll be the first pre-planned dwarven "artifact". (I mean, other than Meph's various workshops and high-end items which would also be in this category, as some of em need VERY particular resources...)

Spikes of bone, image of my slaying if possible in steel, and the anvil will be made of bronze!
