It was a crazy plan that just had to work. A megaproject undertaken in a single season - the Forgotten Beast Silk Extraction Facility. All projects, aside from the World of Leather building, were dropped in order to free up manpower to complete the task. It has to be said, function has been favoured over form.
It is by no means perfect. Due to a glaring design flaw, Thine Wenioyifo does not always stand in the correct position. It can be encouraged back to its station by means of the sacrifice of small animals. Now I know no-one likes to harm kittens, but...
During the capture process, a lucky turn of events saw the beast Nar Tholavuz incarcerated in a copper cage. This was excellent news, since Nar is an exuder of poisonous vapours. His reign of terror has been brought to an end. Currently languishing in the Beast Separation facility, he is waiting to be retrieved and exhibited.
Meanwhile...Erith Anrizkubuk, carpenter, met a grisly end due to an encounter with a Magma Crab. No-one is certain exactly where this creature sprang from. The general consensus of opinion in the City's dining halls points to the possibility that it emerged from the magma sea, close to the forges on the lowest level. Nothing has been done to remedy the situation so far, as everyone has been much too busy elsewhere.
Moving on to the situation with the Count. Unfortunately, despite the best efforts of this overseer, he is still proving to be a bit of a liability due to mood. He has been re-outfitted with armour, to help negate the effects of rotting clothes and placed under house arrest in his tower. Hopefully this will prevent him murdering anyone. Indeed, I believe there may be a superfluous vowel in his title...however, I managed to resist making alterations there.
Kogan Zulbanlilar, mechanic, became possessed by strange forces...
Certainly, the design theme is a fair reflection on the state of intrapersonal relations within the city. One can only hope that the situation improves. Although much has been done to improve the general mood with replacement armour and clothing, possibly the standard of accommodations within the city needs reviewing.
Never did get round to putting a cross on the hospital...
I leave all that to a future overseer, as I am now signing off from my tour.
