So... I just experienced myself something like this:

This is finely-crafted platinum statue of Kadôl Rawnesslabors.
The item is a finely-designed image of Kadôl Rawnesslabors the dwarf and cheese in platinum by Adil Solonnelas. Kadôl Rawnesslabors is surrounded by the cheese.

Its.. the legendary cheese! Too bad statue is only finely crafted, not masterwork. Anyway do anybody else have any cheese themed dwarven works? More legendary the better..

This is a common happening when dwarves have very little to no legends to make Artifacts of or engrave.

In the beginning, Armok created the Cheese.  He saw the Cheese and decreed that it was good.

Apparently the 2 most significant historical events here in Boatmurdered are elephants and cheese. Take a close look at the cheese ones actually, they aren't even carvings of cheese, but renditions of some other image of a cheese. They're freaking homages!

Intrigued, I investigated the art history of the settlement further. I discovered this artifact which I can only presume was the inspiration for all the imitators:



Having viewed it for myself, I must agree that this image of a cheese speaks to the dwarven spirit, and will be a cultural treasure for generations to come.

Perhaps, but in all of that my fortress have there is exactly one thing about cheese. However it is very cheesy thing. Everything else is about dwarves or loons..
