The different versions is an interesting idea but a worry about it from a gameplay standpoint. I mean, most people won't exactly know what the combination of beryllium, hydrogen, rubber and viagra would get them. I do intend to split it up amongst "simple" elements and "Complex" ones, and maybe split them up by power level, so that people can regulate exactly how crazy they want things to get.

I intend to offer suggestions about arenas and other places to play it. Maybe even a roll chart based, endless death trap filled doom maze arena. And other things.

Optional win conditions are good. Stuff like elimination matches or first to get X points. Maybe even non-murder things.

Word generator depends on if I can get someone to make one. If not, I'll just link to a generator that can do the job. I'm sure I can find one.

By the way, don't you think that Perplexicon plays a lot like Bomberman? Overpowered abilities, and you're just as likely to kill youself.
Maybe even have it play a little like bomberman, with players starting by themselves, and eventually breaking down obstacles to other players.

Ok, now I am extremely curious.
Also someone should sig this.

Hm. How about some expansion on the kinds of enemies around, like that rocky boar with trees?

Personally, I think there should be a nice mix of general utility elements (steel, crystal, stuff whose use is obvious up-front), complex ones (clockwork and the ilk), dangerous but powerful ones (vacuum, magma, Zentol-class), and silly but maybe possibly useful ones (candy, foam, hair.)  I tried to go for a balance with Pit without going overboard on adding tons of them.

One thing that might be good in a printed version is some form of "Here are the 80 possible elements.  60 are in the game.  Have fun." so you know in general what to expect but you can't expect everything.

ClF3 would be hilarious to add, except not everyone knows what it is.  For the more complex/dangerous elements, there would need to be explanation on how they work, and any weaknesses/advantages they have.  Like how a fullbody vacuum is a dangerous thing to attempt, what elements are resistant to raw magical energy, etc.

What about caesium? It's a silver-gold liquid at 27 Celsius, explodes in contact with water and explodes in air when set on fire. It's probably Derm's favourite element or something.

That sounds dangerous.

I'm gonna have a sentence or two explanation of elements at the very least. Anything unknown or complex will get a larger one. So clf3 should be fine, provided it's explained well.

A good mix is a good idea. Perhaps I'll just make a massive list and say "take 40 from each of these categories to keep things balanced, or use just these two groups for a more restrained game, or these for a crazy fucking game."

hmm

Ah, in the pipe line, thats a good site. I like C2N14 myself. It explodes in solution, it explodes when you try to move or touch it. It explodes when you look at it too hard. I intend to have lots of fun substances.

VIRAL!
Viral as an element? Or as a modifier?
I'd personally like the latter, since it could theoretically allow a massive collaborative rune or someone with a lot of pool to spread a disease that turns people into solid booze dragons.
