Click the "Get it" button, requires DOSbox. Link: Link removed

If you want to buy the game it looks like you'll have to get extraordinary luck at a garage sale or used game store. And then you'd still have to use an emulator.

Follow a DOSBox tutorial as exactly as possible. If it still doesn't work, people will be willing to help you, especially if you can say where/how it went wrong.

I'd just like to note that the Toad dissaproves of adbandonware sites.

Follow these instructions exactly:

Extract the .rar (or .zip or whatever you're using) to "C:\Covert".

Open up DOSBox.

Type "mount c C:\Covert"

Type "C:"

Type "Covert"

The game should now start.

DOSBox doesn't like directories with a space in the name, so extracting to Program Files or C:\Covert Action will fail you.

It's directly above the enter/return key on most keyboards I've seen. It can usually produce the | and \ symbols. \ is default, | is shift+\.

Back then games came with manuals and people read those manuals. You should too, since they usually contain the key bindings that help you actually play the game. Replacementdocs has a decent selection of manuals if you ever come across a game without one.

Non-abandonware Covert Action had a manual based copy protection scheme.  At some point, your boss will ask you to identify a mugshot which is listed in the manual.

Quote from: Grakelin but edited for Hidden Agenda
Follow these instructions exactly:

Extract the Hidden Agenda.zip, then in the Hidden Agenda folder created, take the agenda directory and move it to "C:\agenda".

Open up DOSBox.

Type "mount c C:\agenda"

Type "C:"

Type "agenda"

The game should now start.

DOSBox doesn't like directories with a space in the name, so extracting to Program Files or C:\Hidden Agenda will fail you.

If you have the directory named agenda, it's what you'll need to type to mount it.
and the game executable is named agenda.com , so you'll need to type agenda , i'm not sure where the "hidden" you're mentionning comes from
