I'm complaining about how you used Will as the method to generate any interest and still expect the characters to care after they have recovered him.

What's this about Angel? There isn't too much OOC on it. Well, relative to the arguments at least.

Nuriel, and hence Angel, are in the other world, because the former is working for Seham (she brought him Will) and the latter...kinda came with the package.

I do not see a problem.

This is not an urgent matter, if they decide to go conquer another world, let them do so, Will can be used to generate another portal once negotiations with Hell and whatnot go through and send a superior army to crush their faction mid-conquest whilst they're preoccupied.

Then, Hell can take over (either fully or gain significant influence) that weakened world under the pretense of defending it from future assaults, they probably won't be too welcome, but they were the saviors and they did crush the invading faction. That conquest and vengeance seems to be ample incentive for gaining Hell's support.

There, a potential solution that minimizes player character involvement and crushes the entire faction.

That plan doesn't let them take out their irritation on Seham or rescue Angel, which makes it likely to be rejected.

It also requires Will to be put piecemeal into the portal again, which you are unlikely to coerce him to do...

I'd say crushing him and his forces with the legions of Hell does take out their irritation. Nuriel could be coaxed into surrendering. Selina could draw parts of Will and take them out.

Doing so personally is more cathartic, I'd imagine. Besides, they're already there.
I suppose, unless of course one of those demons kills her.
If I was Will, I'd be disturbed at Selina not taking a more direct route.

Well, it would have to be more or less direct.

You know why Seham didn't just harvest the organs from Will? Will still has to be attached to the organs for it to work. It's more his essence than his organs, really.

So? Attach the false organs to Will and do it. Remove them afterwards. Doesn't even have to be Will. Stella or Lucas could work.

I'm still pretty sure non-Will methods would be simpler and (less squicky). Returning to my metaphor about the car, Selina could make a different ignition system, or a golem that pushes the car, or a completely new engine, or a whole new car.

Either way, my point is, they could just negotiate for Hell to intervene instead.

Perhaps we should let them decide instead? My point was made as this isn't even a plot and that it is taking rather long to resolve.
