The constant sound of firearms discharging their deadly payload was all that was heard as Damon tried in vain to dodge the Tank’s attacks.

Beep…

“AGH!” Melody cried out as a incendiary round pierced her flesh, setting her clothing ablaze. In too much pain to do much else she was forced to feebly attempt to put out the flames while still firing at the Tank.

Beep Beep…

It was finally Mark’s M16 that caused the tank to sink to its knees. Luckily for those nearby it fell against a wall, straining the support, before sliding harmlessly to the ground.

Beep beep beep beep…

“Are you okay?” Ugly Jim yelled as he attempted to put out the flames without harming Melody further.

BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP…

‘What the hell is… THE PIPE-‘ Jeffrey thought before he witnessed the explosion.

After a few seconds of his ears ringing Jeffrey recognized a separate sound. The groans of wounded soldiers. His squad had been caught unawares by a kamikaze charge by the enemy. The deluded man detonating a grenade, and himself, in a suicidal rush. It was only him and Lt. L’etranger still on their feet and L’etranger just barely. Thankfully there seemed to be no other enemies in the area so they had plenty of time to call for a medic.

“maauuuuuugh” His ravaged vocal cords seemed to work overtime, but no sound came out. Neither did any help.

Well college is out so this should be back to a somewhat decent schedule for quite some time. So that’s good!

Well… I like to write a comment, and then do the update so I’ll remember to put it in… Now that I’ve done the update… Well that sucked. Good job on the Tank though…
