There's no such thing as a waitlist. :3

Newcomers to the village get a 50% production penalty (gathers half as much stuff) to represent joining in the group in the middle of the week.

Lessee...

Op, wait. I said I'd do it Friday.

Added into the player list tho'.

Also, for the sake of making a major group more "major", all minor labor groups have 8 instead of 10. leftover pop after group generation is added into all labor groups from the top-down. When your group gets bigger you can pick the composition...except the non-laborers (suckers  :D).

Also again, say what race you are. There's no default population for this town, only the eventual racial tension.

Hmmm. Set the builders to building crude huts to start, using wood, reeds, mud bricks, loose stones; whatever's available, basically. Keep the gatherers foraging, and have the miners work on making crude digging tools from rocks and wood.
The huts should be clustered together, and once the miners have tools they should dig out a surrounding ditch and link it to the river.
The Spearmen should patrol and run combat drills. The mages should work on integrating with the spearmen- that is, training to fight together effectively: casting from behind a defensive line mostly, for now.

Changed name. Added race (yay, didn't know we didn't have to be elves \o/). Added a little to the orders.

Yes, I went the boring humans. Nearly became the third player to go cat-folk. But the idea of having cat-folk that cut down trees, collected non-meat and went near water of their own freewill would probably have pushed it, funny idea or not. :)

Note: Kaian has too few people, as a heads up.

Thanks. It sums up to 46, not 50. Small mistake :D

I think catfolk would just go zzzzzzzz, purrrrrrr, meow, and fight each other. Perhaps hunting for a bit.

Local Flora Updated!
Local Fauna Updated!
====================

In case you're wondering, the flora and fauna are currently identified under the system of "hey look we can use that plant for that thing".

Local thoughts
1. Wish we had a roof
2. Where do we keep all this food?
3. Where'd our tools go? :(

Alrighty. Suggest what to do for next week!
If you feel the need/urge/whatever to write your own journal (about how bad this town is) by all means do so. you can put your job list in it too, as long as you make it noticeable so I don't have to reread it to sift every time.

Notes
1. Every race has its own ideas of what a "house" looks like, and it usually is elaborate.
2. Unpreserved and uncovered food can and will attract unwanted (and unsmart) visitors.
3. Trade will not start until the first two months are over, thus no intelligent enemies will arrive within the first three months, at the very least.
4. Basic spellbooks can be used as batteries, if given the proper application.

Week 3 will occur Monday Evening.
