Flooding the world with magma, do people mean only the map or the whole world?

I am sorry for so many post and newb questions,, I hope I do not get banned, but I do not know if the magma/water floods everyone talks about flood the whole planet or only the map area of a fortress.

It's the area of a fortress, since fluids that reach the edge of the map flow off. However, you'd probably get something interesting to happen if you visited in adventurer mode.

Also, getting banned is not easy to do accidentally, so don't worry about it.

thank you.

I just worry I am talking to much or making too many post, that it will add up like a dwarven tantrum for the website.

I hope in future releases and more stable game mechanics in the future will make world floods easier, even if its possible only in pocket worlds by then.

A few years ago I attempted a Transcontinental Magma Pipeline...
It was madness... I don't know where the save is right now, and I didn't get very far but yeah it's totally do able.
Plan morphed into a plan to build an obsidian island.
