[Commercial District]By now the car alarm had died, little more than a mute whine barely audible.
Freddie posed a very important question to the survivor on the ground, now that he's finally being compliant. Damn survivors being so violent, why couldn't they just be civilized? To think that all of this could of been avoided if they just weren't, well, stupid.
"Glad that you people could see things our way, really. Now, my question is, where'd you people even come from?"
Frogdo could only agree, posing menacingly over the survivor with his club bouncing lightly against his palm, not afraid to bring the pain again if need be.
NOW THAT YOU'VE SURRENDERED LIKE LITTLE BITCHES-
I'm willing to talk peaceable like. Answer the man's question.
"Rgh, where do you think?! We survived! Not well, barely at times, but survived! We got a place we stay the night, a wrecked place, think it was a dive bar once. Fuck, aaaahhh..." The survivor beat the ground roughly to try and distract himself as he rose himself from a laying position to a sitting one, still unsteady, trying to ignore the pain or the thought that he may no longer have children after this.
After a bit he stared at Frogdo with anger...
"You're a damn wannabe punk bastard, you know that? Hitting someone there, really? That's just low." ...And a small amount of respect. Mostly impotent anger however.
Harvey continued to hide in the shadows, looking around.
The sights didn't much change though, there was still a large stretch of highway that seemed to stretch on for a while in both directions before one took a sharp curve to his left, and the other hit a four way. The building housing the bunker's door was a small, squat concrete building that was largely nondescript. It seemed there might of been a door hiding the inside of it once, but it was long since gone with any traces of it with it. Paper littered the streets along with rocks and even a few crushed cans from the looks of it. General refuse.
The buildings nearby seem broken and worn, walls chipped and marred, glass cracked and shattered. There's your four allies interoga--negotiating with the two survivors who attacked your group, both on the ground or prone in some way. Nothing and nobody seems to be around really, the other two having vanished a while ago after taking a turn somewhere from the looks of it.
Randall, meanwhile, was not amused with the antics of the lying bastard he had pinned down.
"-A-And that was one of the biggest lies I've seen. S-See, life in the bunker had not been as n-nice as you think. We also had f-food problems, and they begun getting worse once you survivors begun to have p-problems to find more. Y-You know, everybody likes fleshier meals."
Randall waits, having a flair for the dramatics and to let the words sink in, before giving a rotted smile at the man.
"S-so, w-which kind of survivor do you want to be, the useful one, or one of those who ends up as soup?"
The survivor paled, looking at the knives at his throat again warily before hasty words tumbled out.
"He-hey now, no need to, uh, get hasty right? I'll be helpful, yeah, yeah!"
"-T-Then tell me all that you know and all t-that you have seen."
"Alright, alright! Ev-everything, yeah? Well-well today was a bum rap because two people betrayed me and we made a bad decision. W-we were going to go check out some stores, to see if they've been tapped out yet or something, but then we heard the door open. We knew that it had to be the bunker 'cause what else could of made that damned noise? So we came running to try and get there first before anyone else, and we saw you all alone and figured that you'd be an easy mark and... And... Now you have me by the throat with knives."
The man quickly stammered out, hoping that it would save him being waterfood.
"I-I mean what else do you want to know? We got unlucky and made a stupid decision, come on don't eat me! I'm all stringy and--and diseased I'm sure!"
Samuel however was getting fed up with all of this it seemed and pointed a knife at the survivor Randall was negotiating with, demanding the man fess up where food can be found. He didn't seem that comfortable having three knives pointed at him now.
"A-around! Ju-Just look around alright! Most places are cleaned out but sometimes we get lucky and find things! We don't have stockpiles or any of those fucking things, food often vanishes as soon as we find it!"
Marion gathers her supplies and leaves the complex, stopping outside by the door to check her map once more. The blue words happily jumped in front of her eyes and started to process finding the shortest route between her and the hanger, before eventually coming up with a figure. It... Wasn't pretty.
The map happily said that it was at least a few hours of driving or two to three days of walking away. Well, and a short train ride but who knows if those are still working. Damn this ship and it being insufferably large, but at least you got out at the point closest to the hanger.
Either way, it seems that there are two routes to the hanger. Well, three actually, although it wasn't obvious on the map. One would be to head there directly, cutting through some of the rougher bits of the outskirts. It wouldn't take you close to any of the maintenance entrances, but it seems the shortest. There's another way that's a bit of a round about way to get there, but it goes through the maintenance tunnels so you could potentially get two birds with one stone. Of course, it's also the longest route. There's the third route though, technically the shortest but that assumes that the train is up and working. The entrance seems to be about five minutes away though.
Well, you got three paths there that the map suggests, you could probably try to figure your own though with a little tweaking. Which way do you want to go?
[Hm... I think I made food too plentiful and too good with Marion.
Food from now on will be a meal's worth, not a days.
If you eat three rations/food/meals your health won't degrade at all and you gain a step of health to a max of healthy.
If you eat two rations/food/meals your health won't degrade if at nominal or below.
If you eat one ration/food/meal your health won't degrade if at scuffed or below.
If you don't eat anything for a day your health degrades by one, but not passed wounded.
Health lost this way will be tallied and can be made up eating meals instead of meals just restoring health.
Rations are assumed to also include water for simplicity reasons.
Of course this won't concern you all until in-game tomorrow.]

Short Biography: despite the rather dire nature of the situation, Freddie is quite glad, all in all, that whatever happened happened. He was in the middle of contemplating suicide when the sirens came, trying to decide upon a good method to carry out a deed. However, evacuation put a stop to that kind of thinking, and Freddie rather appreciates the circumstances due to this. Why, he could make off with an entire tuxedo and hat in the chaos, and nobody noticed. For him, this whole apocalypse thing is kind of a definite improvement, really. Certainly an opportunity to reinvent himself, find some sort of track to get his life onto at last.
