(( Can I ask why I for some reason unloaded a loaded gun at some point? ))

Shoot the monster off me.

[Well, the gun was never unloaded because it was never loaded in the first place. It came out of the fabricator empty and nothing was done with it.

I actually mentioned it being empty when Harvey entered the bunker, where he drew it.

I do admit 'dry as a desert' when talking about ammo may be kinda vague though.]

Hand the meat cleaver to Wilmer, wait until the shots are fired, and then do the following:

-Grab the blanket and wrap around the thing's head, so that it can't see.
-Order Wilmer to begin chopping off his arms.

Look around for someone who knows what's going on and gives orders.

Marion jogs on, keeping her breathing steady and her machete in one hand, ready.

"I get the feeling my friend and your friend weren't very cooperative with Asimov, regrettably. This probably could have been avoided, but hey. At least it seems to be morning and all. Let's get our buddies and get outta here, huh?"

Freddie then turns to Forrest.

"Sorry I couldn't help you, man. I can at least tell you my plan, though - ask Asimov what he gets in return for selling off stock. If it's not something valuable, insinuate that something's gone wrong with his defragmentation or whatever and that the store is operating at a loss as a result of what he's doing. Maybe that will work on him, and that's the best I've got. Sadly, I've got to run before something comes along and eats me. Good luck, dude."

Get Frogdo and get out of here. Even though there's no monsters here presently, we can't expect that to continue for too long.

((Um, was the limb chopped? Or just a wound was inflicted?))

Same tactic, other arm.

[Darn my writing updates when I'm tired. His limb's still on there, but it's not doing so hot what with the gash.]

Move backwards to slam the monster into the wall and pin it in place.
