I probably should of clarified this in the post: the Swift Dogs are a tribe of ponies that employ fighting animals, not diamond dogs.

Yes, probably. Even their wiki entry says nothing about them being ponies.

For future reference: species of npcs is probably something we're generally going to want to know.

How so? I just described how the table broke. It makes no real difference other then adding a little more detail to it.

Besides which if it was real it would be far more then 1000 pieces given all the little wooden slivers.



Removed it, I'll avoid using any form of descriptive terms in future. I'll just say he breaks this, he breaks that, he brakes something else over and over.

It'a not that you described it. It's the manner you described it in. Look at it from an outside point of view. "My characters hops around a bit, then picks up a table and smashes it into a 1000 pieces!" is different from "My character hops around a bit, then picks up a table and smashes it into the ground, sending splinters flying!"

Saying 1000 pieces gives a certain tone and mindset to the thing. Makes someone think of 1000 approximately equal sized pieces, all rather large, as the table practically explodes, when really, it's probably maybe eight or nine pieces chunks with splinters everywhere.

That's not good RPing either...

Just, before you post something, read it and see how it feels to read if you are looking at it from an outsider point of view.

The only problem with the 1000 pieces was that is wasn't clear it was hyperbole, and so seemed like god-moding.
