This is basically a very simple mod, its a building that allows you to make primitive weapons out of stone, as well as anvils from iron.

It has six items

Stone Pick
Stone Axe
Stone Club
Leather Sling
Stone Pebbles
Anvil

This is for all you survivalist embarkers out there.  This way you don't have to wait for the next caravan to bring a pick, you just embark with a single stone.  (

Does anybody have a mod for a sling weapon?

I'll be honest here, this is just cobbled together code from other sources, 90% of it comes from Meph's rockforge.
I think that by introducing a means to make picks early on in the game it will speed up the pace considerably.

I'm thinking of rolling this and 5 or 6 other buildings into a mod called Lazy Sunday Gamer.

If you make a post in the mod-releases forum, you should maybe include the mod you are talking about... there is no download. ???

Not a bad idea, I suppose I could just make a single thread and roll these all up in a bundle.
