Being completely honestly, while I'm not quite at the level to drop Goblins, Thunt is making harder and harder to actually care about the characters and what happens to them. Too much putting them through the grinder, any kind of apparently bright spot only existing to be squished even harder. He's essentially achieving Darkness Induced Apathy.

Yeah, your reaction when someone get maimed shouldn't be "Again?!".

It's the Game Of Throne of webcomics, essentially.

I cringed harder at that last comic that, well, about everything else I've ever read, barring a couple exceptions.

Holy gee whiz did I just actually read that whole comic in about a day... Oh, wait, I haven't eaten or washed the dishes or cleaned up my apartment or cooked any food, so yeah, okay, I guess I did.

It is getting to be a bit much, all the horrible things stacking up so high. Is anything good ever gonna happen? Weren't there some jokes in the beginning? I liked those. Can we get some more of those?

Oh. Oooooh. It took me three re-readings to realize what actually happened in that panel.

I'm completely unwilling to read through the whole comic to get what's happening in context. Can someone explain it to me real fast so that my curiosity is satisfied?

The evil ranger guy captured Kin and put a leash on her that makes her obey the leash's holder. It's strongly implied, IIRC, that rape was involved.

Minmax grabbed the leash to make Kin listen to him.

...But that was a totally different object-a necklace that Minmax made as a birthday gift for Kin as far as I know.

I haven't read this in some time.. caught up yesterday. I agree that fight scenes isn't really his strong suit - or any action scene really. I very often have to look twice or more to understand what was going on.

Might need to remind myself on the story though. I can't even remember what happened to that Ranger dude. Seems like ages ago.

Also. Does that site load unusually slowly for anyone else? I can't think of any other wencomic I read that's that slow to flip through.

Not implied. As Dellyn so eloquently put it, he raped her "every damn night!"
Then he died. That was happy.
Then this last comic happened, and that was not happy.

If they reset themselves, would they go back to before Minmax fucked it up? They wouldn't have the necklace, but that wouldn't have happened, right?
