Man, even with how stupid OP Kore is, they effed him up.

Also, this will probably be terrible.

Hm, so that's Kore's secret. To be honest, I'm a little disappointed.

I was hoping for it to be some grand philosophical statement on the nature of good and evil and how it intersects with the rules of this world, or that it's reliant on one's own beliefs, or that Kore is acting for the greater good somehow. Something morally complicated, likely reflecting the general horribleness of the world.

But it turns out he's just evil after all, and is using a magic cheat.

In all honesty yeah, I was kinda hoping that it was something along the lines of 'the strength of his conviction is so strong it literally defies the universal rules of morality' which would necessitate convincing him he's been doing wrong to be the key to defeating him, or 'he's so supernaturally compassionate that he's trying to kill every single evil creature in existence, collect their souls, and then die in such a way that his sacrifice purifies all of their souls and turns them Good'. Both of those would be plausible character traits for someone who marched into the Nine Hells and lived, and be a pretty interesting point of view for him to take.

It's still possible there's more to him that we haven't seen, of course, but we'll see.
