Because in week 32 we'll be given poisoned chocolate. There are five different skill combinations that allow us to avoid death and at present we have none of the skill requirements for any of them. From where we are now, getting 50 points in dog skill is the easiest way to avoid dying, and right now we have a -1 penalty for learning animal skills because we're angry. Afraid cancels anger, and depressed give a +1 to animal skills.

Visiting the tomb is the most efficient way to avoid a game over right now.

Of course, that's assuming we even make it to week 32 and don't get raped to death by the tentacle monster first.
