Our bonus for weapons from mood is just as high as our bonus to military stuff. If you notice, it looks like bonus isn't just based on mood - it's also based on how many skill points we've put into the skill.

Is it? Looks to me like we have +2.42/day for military skills and only +1.32/day for weapon skills. I'm not sure whether those numbers are net values, or whether the category bonuses are added to them, but our physical bonus is only +.188 and our intellectual bonus is +.266. So, if those are added, we'd be getting +2.686/day for military skills vs only +1.508 for weapons.

Either way, if we're going to train military skills, now would be an efficient time to do it.

Look carefully - the bonus to whatever is
Mood Modifier + .01 * points in skill group

So the more we work on a skill, the better our bonus, regardless of mood modifier... but working on a skill with a positive bonus might not always be an efficient way to spend our points since it would be even MORE efficient if we had the right mood.

Military Bonus is 2.42 - We have a +1 from mood, and a +1.42 for the amount of points we have in the field (ignoring our costume bonus, which doesn't seem to factor in).

Our weapons bonus is 1.32, or +1 from mood plus .32 for our 32 points in swords.

From a sheer efficiency perspective, there is no numerical advantage to working on Military stuff right now over weapon stuff.

This may seem odd, but let's at least train Dance.

Why? By grabbing dance, we shove it up at least about two levels in ranking. We may not need it often, but if we end up ever having to dance again with the Duchess we won't shoot ourselves in the foot.

That said... I am for training a weapon. Either Archery or Polearms, with my vote going towards using a bow. Swords won't save us from everything!

EDIT: We also now know the power of a Lumen Witch... I am glad we did not make this woman our enemy. Magic may have it's uses...

...mood bonuses don't stack? Hmm, ok. So we probably want to be training military or weapons right now. If so, I'd still propose we train 2x military strategy. That should be enough to put us at 100.
