In my experience, the worst kind of zombie was a Yak husk that inhabited one of my forts. The thing one-shoted a minotaur, killed a web spewing Forest Titan made of glass, single-handedly killed off a goblin seige, and killed half my fortress population.

Its rein of terror ended only when I squished it with a bridge.

Can megabeasts be thralled? If so, a full size dragon: big enough to resist atom-smashing, practically immortal, breathes dragonfire. What more can you ask for?

nobody answered whether clowns can be thralled/husked... maybe I need to find out for myself..

I don't think the Pennywise Brigade can be husked or thralled. They can be killed, but not zombified.

Aaaaand now we've got signature recursion :P.

Anyway, is it possible to have thralled Forgotten Beasts? I assume not, but apart from that, any megabeast is probably the top contender for "Worst Zombie", excluding such things as thrall chickens, which, while relying on a completely unrelated interpretation of that phrase, are quite definitely the worst sort of zombie.

Surely something like a gorlak would be a troublesome zombie, since they're not particularly rare, and I don't think you can decapitate or bisect them, still atom smash though...
